hackCBS is India's Largest Student-run Hackathon which is run by the student only for the students. hackCBS is also identified as Delhi University's First-ever Hackathon-cum-conference and ASIA's First MLH Member Hackathon.
You’ll have all the opportunity to conceptualize your ideas with the learned individuals of the industry, create a product, innovate new things, and most importantly, enjoy memorable moments with your friends. We put no restrictions to limit your creativity and that is why we even have an open innovation theme for all our participants who do not wish to build their hack on a particular subject/theme. Testing and health care solutions are the need of the hour! The participants will have to develop from scratch a model to tackle the challenges revolving around healthcare. Some well knows healthcare applications like GENERIS: DNA & Nutrition App, Medlife and 1mg which help in either providing consultations or delivering prescribed drugs would prove resourceful to get an idea of developing models in the field of healthcare.
You will have to develop a financial technology or a product that may come handy for consumers and institutional customers. To help you get a better idea we have few example applications which include innovation in risk management, mobile payments, big data, trading, retail banking, investing, personal finance and so on.
Augmented reality merges the real and virtual worlds by processing the actual environment through the computer's vision. The participants will have to develop a combination of real-world and computer-generated pictures which should have the potential to revolutionize the way we interact with our surroundings forever. AR and VR could mix our perceptions and senses in a variety of situations, including driving, video games, and healthcare.
Trends come and go but the passion for sports, be them on the field or on electronic devices, remains intact. The participants will need to innovate an idea built around the community for either sports, sportsperson or the spectators. E-sports being the talk of the town is also a vast field for the developers to explore and exploit during the hackathon. To familiarize with the idea applications like cricbuzz, twitch, MPL can be used as references.
AI is a very small word for the innovation this technology embraces. Get into the depth of the development tools and innovate some apps, bots or advanced solutions to use the intelligence of a machine to solve our daily life problems. Research and time are the most important aspects for developing an AI mounted hack. Be it Alexa, a basic bot with advanced features or cracking a puzzle, AI is for all.
Open innovation is based on the notion that ideas can come from anywhere. It means opening up the innovation process beyond boundaries in order to increase one's own creative potential through active strategic use of the environment.

Elasticsearch is a distributed search engine that can also be doubled up to be a NoSQL datastore, real-time analytics, DevSecOps platform. There are many use cases that are built by developers using Elasticsearch as their backend store. As part of this Challenge, build a game, a puzzle, a view that shows analytics of data (like a social media analyzer), use the stack to intercept monitor your home wifi. Use any programming language, frontend, or backend framework. We judge the hack based on the creativity of the use case, approach, and design followed. Note: App need not be a web app, it could be a desktop app or a mobile app.
